NAIFA’s Programs in a Box are designed to help local and state associations provide enhanced benefits for members. These multimedia educational programs deliver topics of practical interest that can be used for either monthly meetings or special seminars. An author recognized as an authority on the subject being covered develops each of these programs.

What is included in each program package?

All programs have a similar design and format, making them easy to use. They are available both as streaming video with downloadable PDFs on the NAIFA Online Leaders Training Center or as a DVD/CD-ROM package on NAIFA Marketplace. In addition to the video program, a timed session outline, PowerPoint presentation, presenters bio, evaluation and marketing materials are included. Programs in a Box is being made available at no cost to state and local associations.

How can this program be used?

Programs in a Box is designed to provide quality turnkey programming for state and local associations. This series of timely topics can be used for continuing education, to generate non-dues revenue or as a membership marketing tool – and it’s portable, for use anywhere. Programs will be formatted to fit a 50-minute timeframe appropriate for possible CE credits.

How do state and local associations promote the programs?

Each program will include written copy to be used for announcing the session in the association’s newsletter; copy to be used in a newsletter ad; and copy for invitations to other local professional associations and individuals (e.g., attorneys, bankers, and accountants).

How will we know of future topics and their availability?

We will notify state and local presidents, executives and professional development chairs by email as new programs are released, approximately one every 6 weeks or so.

Are these programs approved for CE?

Not automatically. State executives must work with their state departments of insurance to get eligible Programs in a Box topics approved for CE in that state. Timed outlines for each program are included in the resource materials provided for each program.
